Last week was my first OpenLink night at dVerse Poetry Pub – and it was AWESOME. The poems were fast and furious – and there were 141 different poems and blogs to read through…. I didn’t get a chance to go through all of them … but there were about 40 different people that clicked through and commented on my poem Phoenix.
Now it’s here again. Tuesday. I’m trying to decide which piece to point to this time. But I am looking forward to hooking up with some awesome poets all over the world again.

Rain
nature’s wet showers
soak earth’s cover sheet
pleasure builds
floods released.
thunder
spasmic
rippling
convulsing
muscles contracting
winds intoxicated moan
pummelling passion
glass pane’s headboard banging
rain on galvanize pounding
nature’s climaxing.

Great flow and word choice here – “nature’s wet showers soak earth’s cover sheet”, “glass pane’s headboard banging”. Wonderful imagery too. Thanks for sharing.
