I’ve been sick recently, and therefore have not been in a position to write anything new this week. That being said, I stumbled onto this poem I wrote a while back … as my poetic friend Beth Winter of Eclipsing Winter says, “You gotta love the #adult hashtag!” Well, since I was drawn to her blog through that hashtag, but stayed through the exquisite quality of her work, this one’s #Adult too, Beth … or is it? *smiles*
Urge
Seductive stares lock, earth stands still;
Nature holds breath as
Sizzling tongues spark molten heat
Desire shaped hickeys branded on
Heaving breast
Arms lock
Bodies rock
Searing insatiable fury of plunging kisses
Neck flung back, rapture rises
Skin bared in flurry of NOW
Stepping over the line
No turning back
Drink the ambrosia of the gods
Cupped to catch the downpour
The storm breaks
Electric emotions break past reason’s dam
Tension snaps
Release it all!
Fast and furious, thunderous squall
Plunging into depths of awakened passion
Clung skin to skin
Sweat to sweat
Engorged entrance ecstatic to be filled
Oil slick, pleasure spilled
Enormous tremors rock our worlds
Lovers curl
And Earth exhales.
Passion's Pleasure
