Kiss Me…

I was musing and daydreaming yesterday, and came up with this….

Kiss Me

Kiss me.
Let our lips touch,
Drawn together with
the pull of magnets put close.
Let our tongues wrestle,
running like children
playing hide and seek…
U hide
I seek
Seek to catch a peek
of pink as you play
slipping away cheekily
making me probe your mouth
with intensity
Locking and wrestling you
to submission…
Hands locking around hips
finding comfort in holding you
Pulling you in
Pressing into you
with the fervour of desire
One kiss inspires songs
and poetry
I wonder if the poets of old
were driven to their pen
with a kiss such as yours…
I close my eyes
lose myself in u
I float away on currents of pleasure
Treasuring every minute
every moment
ever second
that we are connecting this way
Reluctant to pull away
we stand in the forever
between one second and the next
And when we part I get vexed
Eagerly reaching for your lips again
like a drowning man gasping for air
the kiss of life
and melt into you again
losing myself in your presence
surrounding my soul with your essence
with no hope of reprieve.

  5. Beautiful passionate words.
I remember these days of passion – if only we didn’t age…

  6. A kiss is the most intimate form of lovemaking. Face to face, the breath held and exchanged… this was one supremely sexy poem. You got to the heart of it, and I love that. My hub and I are in our 50s, both second marriages, and we could kiss for hours. We keep chapstick by the bed! I’m going to read this to him tomorrow night, bet it gets something started! Fourteen years, and we’re still so in love… Bless you! Amy
