you're reading...

I was thinking about how my Queen and I met and started playing around with words – this is what came out! I hope you enjoy this passionate peek into my love life…  (And yes, this is officially my first poem for the New Year, I’ve been pretty swamped at work, as well as pushing my first book, “EROTIC” – check out the little video ad I did here – but I digress.)

Songbird met Poet in a whirlwind –
And they danced!
They danced the dance of Passion
Of freedom, of joy…
They danced and came and
danced and came and …
When it was time to part
They twirled together in seductive samba,
Neither wanting to be apart for long.

Songbird met Poet in a whirlwind!
And they danced!
Hearts joined in fiery paso doble
Advanced, then pulled back repeatedly
Teasing relentlessly till neither could
Stand the tension and
Then they merged into elegant symphony and
They wove word and beat into a completely new entity….

Songbird met Poet in a whirlwind…
And, as they danced,
Their hearts’ copulation brought to fruition
A decision that quickly reached full maturation
Others may scoff at the duration
But they know that they are complete when together;
That this is a duet composed forever
On life’s hymn sheet!

And he will write and she will sing
And together they will bring a
New sound to the earth
Colouring the world….
Love’s symphony!
