Who has ever had the kind of out of world experience of love? Check my poem …
Can you feel it? I can.
I can feel the burn of being too close to the flame
The hairs on my skin singe when you’re near
And I want to cool down –
But I can’t.
I can’t cool down when your touch
Brings my blood to a boil,
When it’s all I can do to stop myself
From coiling around you,
Kissing you until our fire gets put out –
Wait, no – that’s not right…
Our kiss fans the flames into an inferno.
Desire’s the fire that engulfs us,
Burns our bodies to cinders
Until there’s nothing left to hinder us
Only pure passion remains
We, together, attain supernova status.
Coz we’ll burn together, baby
You and me – just us making love
Will set a new star in the sky
And others will wonder why the planets all blush
Why even in the hush of space
Coz our lovemaking will cause the
Universe to sit still in wonder
Moons will slip out of orbit
Polarity will reverse
As our bodies converse with one another
In the language only we can speak…
And, as we cum,
Comets will streak across our sky
Natural fireworks exploding
And, as we continue our mutual imploding
The Universe slowly lets out bated breath.
Can you feel it? Can you?
